It's a DC wedding.... (part 1) =)
|

Although at this time I was still jet lagged, i wouldn't want to miss out the preparation bit for the upcoming wedding in Vienna...  (yelah, time orang kawin2..the preparation part is one of the best parts betul tak? albeit the stress and all..hehehe)
This time around, the Malaysian community (under Perwakilan DC) decided to 'meraikan' pengantin baru Chrome in Lyana when they come back to DC since they had their wedding in Malaysia and the DC community tak dpt tgk... and also to 'raikan' pasangan pengantin yg 'not so baru' Lynn and Yuzaimi since they got married in US and tak sempat2 lagi nak balik to bersanding in Malaysia. Nanti balik Malaysia mesti kena buat lagi!! heheheh best lah best dpt naik pelamin byk2 kali! Nak join!!! 
Apa2pun the whole thing mmg meriah and I had a fab time! Looking at the pics, kakak2 yg bz buat persiapan pun had a time of their life! Betul2 cam nak menyambut menantu like dattttt...  Oooh, i think the guys had a marvellous time tu as the pics itself says a thousand words...

The day Kak Wati and En. Nal went back to Malaya for good.. =(
|

It was a sad sad day for all of us when Kak Wati, En. Nal and family went back to M'sia after En. Nal finished his studies in Penn. State. 
They're one of those people who genuinely warm up to others without fear or favour (aik? bunyi cam Bar Council nyer motto lak! )
Anyway, Kak Wati often indulge me with her great cooking whenever she's around, especially since I'm pregnant. Even at the 11th hour, she still could cook whatever it is i felt like (kebetulan masa tu teringin makan nasik impit and kuah kacang, although raya dah lamaaaa abisss! ) and manage to even make for me sago gula melaka! (which is Z's fave..and he end up finishing most of my share!!!)
I will truly miss them a lot..and hopefully one day we'll meet again...insyaallah...

Happy 5th Anniversary to us!!!! =)

Pejam celik pejam celik...dah pun 5 tahun today...(half a Decade!!! not baddddd...heheheh)  especially since the beginning of our relationship many ppl were quite sceptical that it'll last...  but we definitely proved them wrong kan B?
What can I say...we're different ppl but with similar interests...i.e: kalau dgr music dlm keta, takyah berebut station etc coz we love the same type/genres! we both love hanging out, movies, bowlings, lepak2 with friends...but Z is always the other half with more ppl skills than I do! He loves networking and meeting ppl where else as much as I love making new friends, I'm not very good at socializing!
Nevertheless, we are also very different in the sense that he is the more practical and logical partner..while I'm always swayed by emotions. Thus, he keeps me grounded all the time... and vice versa. We don't complete each other but we'll try to bring the best out of each other. by encouraging and supporting each other in any matter...tapi bukan support buta2! kalau salah, tetap salah..heheheheh
As the saying goes.."Behind every successful man, is a woman" and I'd like to think that, that woman is me... (errrr..ok Ma...I'm behind you ok? so Zaki has TWO women that makes him the person he is... )
Anyway, I pray that our marriage will always be one Blessed by Allah s.w.t always...and that kita dikurniakan zuriat yg soleh dah solehah...and we'll try our best to live a Life blessed by Him. insyaallah...aminnnnnnn... I Love u Key...and I Love our kiddos (though sometimes they can be very, very TRYING... but they're my 'amanah' and I love them to bits!!!)

We went to a halal Indonesian restaurant in Alexandria, Virginia after being recommended by our friends, Tinie and Suhaimi!
Menyesal tak tau bout' this place earlier coz makanannya memang enak donggggg...(comparing to the other restaurants lah! heheheh coz the chinese food here is nothing like the ones in Malaysia! seriously!) Atleast, the food satiates my taste buds. Rasa lah cam food yg kita biasa makan...
Anyway, we plan to go here again in the future. And we'll definitely recommend the place to other Malaysians. (tapi kadang2 makanan camni kakak2 ni semua dah terer masak kat rumah! saya je yg belum terer2! )
